  • Business information: Business name, address, phone number, website, and industry category that you provide when setting up your business profile.
  • Payment information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Review platform credentials: OAuth tokens and API keys for connected review platforms (Google, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot, Bing) used to sync your reviews.
  • Customer contact information: Email addresses and phone numbers you upload for review request campaigns.
  • Communications: Messages you send through our support channels or AI assistant.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and session duration.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used.

Information From Third Parties

  • Review data: Reviews, ratings, reviewer names, and review dates synced from connected review platforms.
  • Authentication providers: Profile information from Google when you use OAuth sign-in.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Sync and display reviews from connected platforms
  • Generate AI-powered review reply suggestions using Anthropic’s Claude API
  • Send review request campaigns via email (Resend) and SMS (Twilio/ClickSend) on your behalf
  • Provide analytics, sentiment analysis, and reporting
  • Send you account-related communications (password resets, billing notices, feature updates)
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI reply generation), Resend (email delivery), Twilio and ClickSend (SMS delivery), and our hosting provider Digital Ocean. These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.
  • Review platforms: When you post a reply through Revu, that reply is submitted to the corresponding review platform (Google, Yelp, etc.) via their APIs.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent: We may share information for purposes not described here with your explicit consent.

4. AI-Generated Content

Revu uses Anthropic’s Claude AI to generate review reply suggestions. When you use this feature, the review text is sent to Anthropic’s API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. The generated replies are suggestions only — you review and approve every reply before it is posted.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Review data synced from platforms is retained for the duration of your subscription. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. For more details, see our Security page.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
